Grapeseed Oil is rich in linoleic acid, omega 6 and vitamin e. It is a light non-greasy oil that is mildly astringent. The oil is easily absorbed and utilized by the skin to regenerate, tighten, tone and protect skin cells.
Safflower Oil The high content of linoleic acid in safflower oil soothes and softens the skin. Furthermore, linoleic acid stimulates the regeneration of new skin cells, meaning that it can help to clear up scars and other blemishes from the surface of the skin.
Sunflower Oil moisturizes, regenerates and conditions the skin. Rich in vitamins A and E. High in essential fatty acids. Hypoallergenic.
Chamomile contains two substances that make it great to use in skincare. “Bisabolol” is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti- fungal. Apigenin has been shown to reduce DNA oxidative damage and acts as an anti- inflammatory.
Comfrey The beneficial properties of comfrey are largely attributed to its high content of allantoin. Allantoin is a substance that helps promote new skin cell growth and aids in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Rose contains high amounts of vitamin C and can help protect skin cells from damage. The natural oils in roses help to lock moisture into the skin and it is a natural astringent which helps to tighten pores and restore suppleness.
Calendula has a high flavonoid content making it a versatile herb that contains antioxidant and anti-inflammatory carotenes. It has been used for centuries to make topical skin preparations to ease burns, eczema, psoriasis, insect bites, abrasions and other irritations.
Mullen makes the skin soft and silky. It has antiseptic properties so it has the added benefit of removing germs and pathogens from your skin.
Plantain stimulates skin cell regeneration, and beautifies and heals the skin.
Elderberry – Antioxidants in elderberries provide protection from free radicals that contribute to cell damage, aging, and wrinkle formation. Bioflavonoids, which can also be found in elderberries, exhibit astringent properties that help tighten the skin and provide additional anti-wrinkle benefits.
